Intro

I'm Jeremiah and thanks for checking out my page! I'm a Data Analyst with immersive experience using Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python to extrapolate actionable insights from a wide variety of data sources. I excel at the full range of the project lifecycle, from gathering requirements and business objectives, data cleanup, exploratory analysis, model-building, to presenting my insights.

Work

Financial strategic modeling project using a fictional car rental company dataset. This is the PowerPoint presentation with the results of my financial analysis and strategy recommendations, which I devised and ran in Excel.

I ran statistical A/B testing in Excel on different vehicle groups to make recommendations for the best fuel economy, using a dataset from Kaggle containing fueleconomy.gov statistics for nearly 40 years of vehicles. Dashboard included in Excel file.

Front to end data analysis project based on the CBARQ survey. Used A/B testing in Python (Jupyter Notebook) to test the behavioral statistics of different dog breed groups.

About

I started out learning management skills, efficiency analysis, and the Toyota method in one of my earliest roles: Manufacturing. These, along with a background in jazz, help to improve my efficiency and analysis. My natural empathic abilities and sense of humor also help me connect with my customers to sell a product, troubleshoot their issues, or help deescalate stressful situations, as well as connect with teammates on various projects. Lately I’ve been looking for further ways capitalize on my natural analytic abilities and experience.

I enjoy developing systems in various scenarios, improving input/output, quality, and speed. Solving logic puzzles and organizing information are things I do for enjoyment in my spare time. The further task of finding a way to explain it to a person is all part of the fun, as I often find when teaching canine behavior or music theory.
